SEFA Industrial Solutions worked with a leading global energy company specializing in sustainable wood bioenergy to expand its operations. The project required new electrical, instrumentation, and controls systems for the hammermill, pellet mill, and truck tipper equipment. Our scope for this complex installation included:

  • Installing the power distribution system, including cable tray, conduit, cable (15kv, 480V, VFD) switchgear, main distribution panel, MCCs, lighting, receptacles, and grounding system

  • Completing terminations at control panels, motors, and other process equipment

  • Installing and wiring pneumatic and electrical controls (switches, transmitters, relays, solenoids, local disconnects, soft starts, human-machine interface panel, remote I/O panels, aspiration system)

  • Installing a new PLC and an E-stop cabinet, completing new circuits to an existing PLC, and integrating existing controls into the new system

  • Supporting start-up and commissioning
